Terms of Service — CentZero

Last updated: 2026-04-16

1. Agreement

By using CentZero (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

The App is provided by Sai Chun Christopher Tang ("CentZero", "we").

2. What CentZero does

CentZero is a personal reminder and reference tool for Hong Kong and Taiwan credit card annual fees and loyalty program expiries. We help you: - Track your own annual fees and charge dates. - Follow bank-published steps to request a fee waiver. - Track points and miles expiry.

CentZero is NOT: - A financial advisor. Nothing in the App is financial advice. - Affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank, airline, or loyalty program mentioned. All logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners, used solely to help you recognize your providers. - A guarantee that a bank will waive your fee. Whether a waiver is granted is entirely the bank's decision. - A substitute for reading your credit card terms and conditions.

3. Your account

4. Your data you enter

You choose what to enter. You own it. You can delete it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

CentZero is not liable if you enter wrong information and miss a fee as a result.

5. Waiver accuracy

We curate waiver instructions (hotline numbers, IVR paths, in-app routes) from public sources and community reports. Banks change these without notice.

We do our best, but we cannot guarantee that every IVR path is current. Always verify before ending a call with your bank. If you find an outdated path, tap "Report outdated info" in the waiver screen — we review and update.

6. Pricing & in-app content

CentZero is free to use. All features — card tracking, fee alerts, waiver instructions, points expiry tracking — are available at no charge.

The App may display affiliate links to third-party financial product comparison sites (e.g. MoneyHero, MoneySmart). These links are clearly labelled. We may earn a referral commission if you apply for a product through them. This does not affect the information we show you or the order in which cards appear.

If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, we will update these Terms and notify you in-app before any charges apply.

Apple Standard EULA

Your use of CentZero is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

7. Intellectual property

All content in CentZero — including waiver instructions, UI design, text, and graphics — is owned by us or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without our written permission.

Bank names, logos, and trademarks mentioned in the App are the property of their respective owners. We use them solely to help you identify your card issuers.

8. What we're not responsible for

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for: - Fees charged to you by a bank. - Miles or points you fail to redeem before expiry. - Incorrect information entered by you. - Outdated bank waiver instructions (we try, but banks change things). - Losses from unauthorized access to your account if you didn't enable Face ID / Touch ID or use a weak password.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty. Our maximum total liability to you is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue — and never more than HK$1,000.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings.

We can suspend or terminate your access if you: - Misuse the App (automation, scraping, spam). - Attempt to reverse-engineer or redistribute. - Violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you in-app. If you keep using the App after the effective date, you accept the change.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Disputes are resolved in Hong Kong courts.

12. Privacy

Your use of CentZero is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
