Terms of Use

By downloading or using Cookforge you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in full.

What Cookforge is

Cookforge suggests meals and builds shopping lists. It is a planning tool, not nutritional, medical or dietary advice.

Allergens and dietary information — important

Allergen and dietary labels in the app are generated from recipe ingredient lists and are provided for convenience only. They may be incomplete or wrong. Ingredients vary by brand, recipes can be adapted, and cross-contamination happens in real kitchens. If you or anyone you cook for has a food allergy or intolerance, always check the actual packaging and ingredients yourself. We accept no liability for reliance on these labels.

Cooking safely

Cooking times and temperatures are guidance. You are responsible for cooking food to a safe temperature and for handling knives, heat and equipment safely.

Subscriptions

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the app, extract the recipe database for redistribution, or use Cookforge to break the law.

Content ownership

Recipes, photographs, text and the app itself are owned by us or used with permission. You may cook from them freely and share a shopping list with someone shopping for you. You may not republish the recipe collection.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features. We may stop offering the app. If we withdraw a paid feature, unused subscription time will be handled through Apple.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cookforge is provided "as is" without warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
